Gitxsan Environmental Services© (GES) is an indigenous owned company operated by the Gitxsan Nation and founded in 2013. We are based in South Hazelton, BC servicing primarily western Canada although we welcome opportunities anywhere in Canada. We are a SAFE certified company through the BC Forest Safety Council which means our safety programs are audited yearly and exceed industry standards.

Environment Resource Management at KSM Mine

Pre-disturbance assessments in collaboration with ERM for the KSM mine development owned by Seabridge Gold in Northwest BC. Job scopes included avian nest surveys, aquatic and wildlife assessments, fish and amphibian salvages.

Jacobs on Coastal Gas Link Pipeline

Pre-disturbance assessments in collaboration with Jacobs for the Coastal Gas Link Pipeline Project owned by TC Energy in Northwest BC. Job scopes included water quality monitoring, fish and amphibian salvages and wildlife assessments.

Geoterra for NorthPac Forestry Group

Forestry developments in collaboration with Geoterra for the Kispiox area of Northpac Forestry Groups license in Northwest BC. Job scopes included reconnaissance, cultural heritage assessments, layout, timber cruising, waste surveys and permitting.
